WFA Education Resources
 
The 'Schools section' on the National Western Front Association (WFA) website includes a number of educational resources designed by teachers for use both in schools and on battlefield tours. Material can be downloaded for each Key Stage and is available in a format that can be modified to suit specific local needs.
 
2011 Schools Competition
 
To compliment the education resources available at a national level the Dorset & South Wiltshire Branch of the WFA offers schools in its area the opportunity to take part in its 2011 Schools Competition. Schools which would like to become involved in the 2011 Prize Award Scheme should contact David Seymour, Branch Education Officer.
 
The 2011 Award Scheme will be available only to Years 7 to 11, i.e. there will be no 6th Form competition. The topics and formats for entry are largely the same as those for 2010, and are available for download in the form below.
